It is finished with Foxmoor's proprietary non-toxic, water-repellant hardwax oil which allows the board to be used for its intended purpose while maintaining the natural beauty of the wood.

The process of building end-grain cutting boards requires more time and labor than standard edge-grain boards, but the end result is a unique piece of functional art that is much more resistant to knife damage.
