Jonathan Stager, custom furniture maker

I am the proprietor of Foxmoor Studio (originally Foxmoor Fine Furniture), a fine woodworking studio that produces custom hardwood furniture and handcrafted functional art. Every step is completed in-house to turn rough lumber into heirloom-quality wood products built to stand the test of time.

I believe that true excellence lies in the details. Each piece that leaves the shop is meticulously crafted with a combination of modern and hand tools, and reflects my unwavering commitment to quality.

From the initial design consultation to the careful selection of rough lumber, precise milling, skillful joinery, and flawless finishing, I ensure that every aspect of the creation process is executed with absolute attention to detail. Traditional joinery is combined with high quality modern hardware and finishes, seamlessly blending old-world craftsmanship with contemporary style for strength, authenticity and longevity.

I understand the significance of creating a living space that reflects your unique personality and style. Whether it be a farmhouse-style bed frame with hidden storage areas, a modern live edge dining table with copper and brass inlays, or a unique charcuterie board with sentimental items set in epoxy, I pride myself in exceeding my clients’ expectations on all projects, large and small.

In addition to custom woodworking, I have a rotating selection of ready-made pieces available for purchase, including floating nightstands, monitor risers, essential oil holders, and other pieces of furniture which can be found here or in my Etsy shop.

While my workshop is based in the scenic Upper Cumberland region near Cookeville, Tennessee, I have shipped and delivered pieces of all sizes throughout the U.S. and Canada.

I invite you to discover the artistry and passion that infuses my work.
